Event Planning Blueprint

Your hen party is your last chance to go wild before you end up with a chain around ankle, so you want to do everything possible to make sure it’s the most amazing night ever. I’m sure you already have a few tricks up your sleeve, but I thought it would be good to look at some things you should take into consideration.

Plan Everything in Advance

As soon as someone pops the question you can start thinking about your hen night. I’m not saying you need to plan everything the day after your partner gets down on one knee, but you definitely shouldn’t leave it until the last minute. Once you know when you’re getting married you will be able to set a date. That means everyone will know to keep their schedule open and you will be able to book things before someone beats you to it.

Don’t Go Crazy with Money

I know your hen night is meant to be special, but make sure you don’t go crazy on the money front because you have to think about the people who are going to attend. You might not care about spending lots of money because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event, but a lot of people are struggling financially and they might have to sit it out. Of course that doesn’t mean you need to be frugal because you don’t want to throw your hen party in the middle of a field.

5 Hen Party Tips

Private Works Best

Once a big group of girls get together they will cause carnage, but this will usually only happen if your hen night is a private affair. That might mean booking the VIP section of a club so everyone can sit together without strangers getting in the way. If you’re going for a meal you can book a section of the restaurant where you’ll be free to have a good time without ruining other people’s night because of your rowdiness.

Stick to a Few Locations

Unless you want to spend most of your night stuck in the back of a limo I’d suggest limiting the number of locations you use. You’ll obviously want to drink some champagne inside your fancy limo, but it does get old after a while. Another good tip is to keep all the locations as close together as possible and this will also limit the amount of time you spend in transit. After all, you only get one night to have the greatest time ever.

You Get to Decide

If you want to be considerate towards your friends you won’t force them to spend a lot of money, but after that it should be left to you to decide what you want to do. You won’t be able to please everyone and if someone decides to stay at home because they don’t like the sound of your plans it’s their problem. You will find out who your true friends are because they’ll only care about making sure you have a great time.

Get the Supplies Ready

There is a good chance you will wake up in a terrible state the following day. Your head will feel like it’s about to explode and you won’t be able to think straight. Make sure you have plenty of emergency supplies lying at the side of your bed. That means stomach settlers, pain killers, and plenty of water. Have some fatty foods close by too in case you want to soak the alcohol out of your system.

Have a great time

I’m sure you’ll have a great time no matter what happens, but at the end of the day it’s always nice to be prepared. You never know what will pop up and you don’t want to get yourself stressed out so close to the wedding.
