By now there might only be a week or two until your wedding, but I bet you feel like there are still a million things to do. I know it can seem a little overwhelming and it’s easy to get scared, so we’re going to look at some of the things you can do to set your mind at ease. Not only will it make you feel better as the big day approaches, but you’ll be able to avoid any potential disasters that might pop up.
Test Out Your Makeup
Don’t think about playing around with any new makeup tricks on the day of your wedding unless you’ve tested them out well in advance. That might mean sitting at a mirror for hours one night testing new things, but it will save you from panicking on the morning of your wedding when you just can’t seem to get your makeup right. The same thing could apply to your hair, so if you’re going to get it cut a different style make sure you test it out in advance to avoid any upsets.

Try To Slim Down
If you’ve been trying to lose weight before your wedding you might have been following a dedicated diet for the last few months, but a quick tip to help you look lean on your wedding day is to cut carbohydrates from your diet a week before your wedding. When you eat carbs your body will hold onto a lot more water, but once you take them out of your diet you tend to lose that extra water weight within a week which will make you appear thinner.
Get Your Rehearsal Right
Some brides are very glad they chose to have a wedding rehearsal because it definitely helps prepare you for the main event. If you’re even a little bit nervous about standing in front of hundreds of people at the front of the chapel you should have one too. Obviously nobody will be staring at you, but that doesn’t matter because you just want to make sure you get your part right. If the rehearsal goes well you’ll have a lot less worries on the big day.
Double Check Everything
Just because you’ve booked a photographer to turn up it doesn’t mean they will. What if they were involved in a car accident a few days before and couldn’t tell you about it? I don’t want to give any more examples of things that probably won’t happen, but just be aware some things could go wrong and someone will be affected. To make sure you’re not one of them you should double check everything a week before your wedding to make sure everything is still running smoothly.
Spend A Day At The Spa
I bet you’ve been stressed for as long as you can remember getting ready for your big day, but now that it’s fast approaching you don’t want any of that stress spilling over into your wedding. The best thing you can possibly do is try to relax as much as possible a few weeks before you’re ready to walk down the aisle, so look for one of those cheap spa packages that will enable you to chill out a little. Once you get home you’ll be prepared for the final push before the wedding.
The Final Touches
If you’ve been organized from the beginning you won’t need to rush around as much during your last few weeks as a single woman, but the things we’ve talked about today will definitely help. Test them out for yourself because they’ll only make you feel more secure right before your wedding. – EventChecklist.net
